Started on 2nd February, 2017, Seven of our Gyanoday Centres donate education to 1,000 plus underprivileged children such as Musahar, Koiri, Chamar, etc. daily at their doorstep. We cater to the people and communities who are struggling even to quench up their basic necessities of life. But we are confident that giving them quality education is the only way to give them a sustained well-being of such underprivileged communities and people. None the less, education is the most powerful weapon to transform the lives of any society and nation. Gyanoday comprises of two unique propositions - First (1): door-step education which means creating an impelling atmosphere around their homes so that children and their parents are inspired to avail quality education ; Second (2) : learning while playing which means children are put into numerous activities so that they play and learn together. Gyanoday is an initiative to Engage, Educate and Elevate the underprivileged children through “Doorstep-Education” vis a   vis   “Learning   while   Playing”   at   Free   Of Cost. Gyanoday has set its target to donate education to one lac such children in next five years.

 

CA Prabhash Jha is the founder of Namami Mithila Foundation and Gyanoday is his brain-child. Mr. Jha States that love and selfless service don't depends on one's title and favorable time. Mr. Jha has passed the toughest Chartered Accountancy examination at the mere age of 22 and later on became the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the well known Indian companies at the young age of 30.Mr. Jha strongly believes that Slate, Pencil and a Good Teacher can transform almost any Society.
